Kitchen #5

PROJECT LOCATION:  Champaign, Illinois

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  This kitchen remodel is located in a home that was built in the 1950's. A wall between the existing dining area and kitchen was removed to expand the kitchen area. The plumbing and HVAC was rerouted with the demolition of the wall.

The new custom kitchen comes with all of the modern day luxuries. Handmade quarter sawn oak cabinetry and Dupont "Zodiaq" quartz countertops reflect the clients love of mission style architecture. New Pella windows were installed over the double sink with a Grohe faucet. All new appliances include a Viking cook top and hood, subzero refrigerator and a Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher.

A new cork floor provides maximum comfort. Recessed lighting was installed over the cooking area and mission style light fixtures were placed the new bar. New crown molding matches the custom cabinets.

"Photos do NOT do this kitchen justice" says a new client that has decided to use similar cabinets after viewing these on site. "These cabinets beat out the look and quality of store bought box cabinets hand down"!

A new custom made "solid wood quarter sawn oak" door to the exterior was also added.
