| PROJECT LOCATION: Champaign, Illinois |
| PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The kitchen in this older home was quite small and lacking in cabinetry. One entire wall had no cabinetry - just a refrigerator - due to the location of the entry doorway. This doorway was relocated 18" off of the existing wall to allow for new cabinets along the entire wall. To give the kitchen a larger feel, the existing wall between the dining
room and kitchen was removed and replaced with a new peninsula bar.
Base cabinets opened on the dining room side for extra
storage while a countertop overhang was placed on the kitchen side
for an New custom cherry cabinets with glass display areas above and new solid granite countertops were installed. The backsplash was created using a mosaic glass tile that pulled the various colors from cabinets, countertops and flooring. New ceramic floors, halogen lighting and Jenn-Air appliances complete this beautiful kitchen.
