PROJECT LOCATION:  Mahomet, Illinois

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  This newly remodeled kitchen was created by removing an existing wall between the kitchen and dining room which allowed the kitchen to become more open and roomy while still retaining an area for the dining room table. A large island with sink and food prep area was added to the center of the kitchen, and a peninsula bar was added with additional seating.

An exterior door was eliminated to allow for more cabinetry. Two bay windows - one each in the kitchen and dining room were eliminated and the exterior wall was moved out an additional two feet. New garden door units were installed. A fireplace was added between the kitchen and dining areas.

Custom cherry cabinets with granite countertops and glass tile backsplash were installed, along with G.E. Monogram and Jenn-Air appliances. New oak flooring was added along with all new recessed and pendant lighting.

The existing mudroom was reconfigured to create a new pantry and shelving unit.
