| PROJECT LOCATION: Champaign, Illinois |
| PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This 1920's home had a new addition added and approximately 90% of the remaining home was remodeled. An old porch was demolished at the back of the house where the kitchen was enlarged, an eat-in area added (with built-in cabinets for large fish tanks), along with a new bathroom, closet and back entrance area. The second floor addition consists of a new master bedroom, master bathroom and laundry room. Most of the entire existing residence was stripped to the studs and remodeled. The kitchen was opened up by removing some interior walls, and new custom oak "craftsman" style cabinets added along with granite countertops and all new appliances. In the living room, the arched entrance was widened, new oak cabinetry with craftsman style tiles were added around the existing fireplace and a new glass french door was added into the sunroom. The library area was outfitted with all new custom oaks cabinets. All new doors, lighting and hardware were added. The existing hardwood floors were refinished. Upstairs, the bathroom was remodeled with vintage looking wall tile, an oak vanity, and glass block behind the tub area. An existing bedroom was turned into a new upstairs office. The home was updated with all new finishes and details that retained the feel of the "arts and crafts" style. A new deck was added at the back of the home along with a new 2-car detached garage with an additional 400 s.f. of storage. All new concrete drive and sidewalks were added along with all new landscaping.
