PROJECT LOCATION:  Champaign, IL

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A 2-story addition was added on to the back of a home built in 1922. A new office was added to the first floor, while a master bedroom was added to the second floor. An existing bedroom was converted to a new walk-in closet and bathroom for the master bedroom.

In the office, the existing exterior brick was left exposed and then painted. New French doors in the office contained glass that was sandblasted with a custom design.New oak trim in both rooms was stained to match the existing trim.

Winner of the 2004 PACA Heritage Award - maintaining the architectural integrity of the existing home in the new addition.
